Attorney Cole Ruby Secures Big Win

Client was found guilty of child abuse. Attorney Ruby filed a motion for a new trial based on the trial court’s exclusion of evidence of the accuser’s prior violent acts, as well as trial counsel’s failure to file appropriate motions regarding that evidence. The trial judge agreed that he improperly excluded the evidence, which violated the defendant’s constitutional right to present a defense, and granted a new trial.
