Proposal Would Decriminalize Small Amounts of Marijuana

State Rep. Shae Sortwell, R-Two Rivers, and Rep. Sylvia Ortiz-Valez, D-Milwaukee, on Tuesday proposed essentially decriminalizing small amounts of marijuana. Ortiz-Valez says the biggest benefit from the new proposal would mean far fewer people in prison and jail.
